Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (IBREL) on Friday declared a buyback of up to 5 crore shares at Rs 100 every, which could cost the organization up to Rs 500 crore.

In a regulating filing, IBREL informed that its board of directors on Friday “affirmed a proposition of Rs 500 crore of buyback of up to 5 crore completely paid-up value shares…representing roughly 11 percent of its all out existing paid-up value capital at Rs 100 for each offer”.

The buyback would be through the delicate offer course, as endorsed by business sectors controller SEBI.

All qualified existing holders/valuable proprietors of the value shares (counting people who become investors by dropping Global Depository Receipts and accepting fundamental value shares), on a proportionate premise, could take part.

The board has comprised a buyback advisory group and designated it forces to manage and execute the procedure.

According to the present shareholding, advertisers have 23.36 percent stake in IBREL, while Bengaluru-based Embassy Group has almost 14 percent shareholding.

On Thursday, Embassy Group CMD Jitu Virwani said the gathering has no prompt intends to expand its stake in IBREL.
